*VIDEO* Converting a Team Site into a Publishing Site

There are often situations in SharePoint when a site is simply based on the incorrect template for your requirements, such as the pre-created team site in the root site of your SharePoint Online root site collection in Office 365 – most organisation want to use the root site collection as their Intranet, in which case a Publishing site is required.

It may simply be that a site was created with the wrong template, but now contains documents and other information you don’t want to lose.
